Jean-Luc Davis is an active performer in Colorado and national music scene. In addition to leading his own ensemble, Jean-Luc plays with Gypsy Swing Revue, Tom Gershwin Quintet, Adam Bodine Trio, the Railsplitters, Jeff Austin Band, Andy Hackbarth Band, Jesse Manley Band, Jayme Stone, the John Kite Quartet, and regularly accompanies Wonderbound. Additionally, Jean-Luc has performed with Ron Miles, Shane Endsley, Peter Sommer, 9th and Lincoln Orchestra, Art Lande, Greg Harris, the Aakash Mittal Quartet, Carmen Sandim Sextet, the Matt Fuller Group.

A Colorado native, Jean-Luc Davis began playing bass in high school and was a student in the inaugural session of the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts (CCJA) where he studied with Paul Romaine, Greg Gisbert, John Gunther, and Eric Gunnison. In recent years he has become a regular teacher for CCJA. Alongside trumpet player, Greg Gisbert, he leads the Tuesday night Jam Session at the Jazz Club Dazzle in Denver. Jean-Luc studied classical bass performance at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. When not on tour Jean-Luc Davis lives in Denver and works with a handful of private students.
